Activities at Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in April

Diverse activities will take place at the Vietnam National Villages for Ethnic Culture and Tourism from April 1st to May 2nd to mark the Vietnam Ethnic Cultural Day (April 19th).

From April 19th to 23rd, activities will include Chol Chnam Thmay festival, folklore performance, and photo exhibitions on Central Highlands and south central Vietnam.

The highlight of the national holiday (April 30th and May Day) is a mountainous market from April 29th to May 2nd, bringing the colour of ethnic minority groups in northwestern and northeastern Vietnam in combination with folk performances and games, gastronomy and products of Mong, Dao, Thai, Muong, Kho Mu and Tay ethnic groups. The artistic performance will draw the participation of an artistic troupe from Son La province.

Several ethnic festivals of Mong ethnic minority group in Son La, Ta Oi ethnic group in Thua Thien - Hue, and Co Tu ethnic group in Quang Nam, will be held on this occasion./.
