Some 90 artists from six nations bring their masterpieces using oil painting, lacquer, wood-cut, literati painting (ink wash painting), calligraphy, and folklore painting on paper hand fan, which is a popular and familiar item in the daily life of the people. These decorated paper hand fans deeply demonstrate the meaning of peace through the beauty of nature and the prosperity of life. The four Vietnamese artists are Pham Thang Long, Trinh Tuan, Nguyen Van Nghi, and Vu Bach Lien.

Though coming from various corners of the world, participating artists share a common idea by connecting traditional and cutting-edge in arts, thus reinforcing arts exchange between members, towards “peaceful meaning” of the exhibition.

Detailed information of the event is available at http://vietnam.korean-culture.org./.
