Diverse Italian cultural activities to be introduced in Hanoi in March

A variety of Italian cultural activities will be introduced in Hanoi in March under the third Italian Design Day themed “Cities of the Future and Heritage Preservation”.

Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Antonino Alessandro said that in 2019, the Embassy will organize diverse activities on music, science, cinema, language and gastronomy.
The starting event will be the Italian Design Day with programs related to architecture, transport planning and cultural heritage conservation. Activities will be attended of Italian Design Ambassador in Vietnam 2019, Architect Michele De Lucchi.
There will an academic workshop on issues related to the conservative urban design of Vietnam’s capital city. Accordingly, the participants discussed the nature and future of the Hanoi old quarter based on the analysis of Hoan Kiem Lake - one of the most famous destinations.
In addition, a seminar on the strategies, techniques and technologies applicable to the conservation of historical heritages; and a symposium between enterprises and investors on the ‘economic benefits’ from the conservation and reuse of historical relic sites will be held./.
