Hanoi will organize many cultural and artistic activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the city’s reception of the title "City for peace".

It will be an opportunity to help Vietnamese people and international friends understand more about the title significance; introduce the culture of Hanoians, arouse the pride of the people of the City for peace, preserve and promote the title, towards to building a creative, smart, green, clean and beautiful city.
The anniversary will take place on July 13th at Ly Thai To flower garden near Hoan Kiem lake. A part from art performances, there will be a walking for peace with the participation of about 4,000 to 5,000 people. On this occasion, it will announce the compilation of a dossier to participate in UNESCO's "Creative City" network.
In addition, diverse activities will held, including performances of intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO, an exhibition on elegant and civilized Hanoians, a photo exhibition on peace diary, contest to seek for Friendship Peace Ambassador 2019, a painting contest for children who love Hanoi, and a seminar on Hanoi - the city for peace - 20 years of integration and development./.
