Over VND 500 million from painting auction to support doctors

The program "Auction of Artworks - Overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic", which has been organized by the Capital Security Newspaper and Indochine Art Joint Stock Company (Indochine Art), collected over VND 500 million to support doctors in the frontline against epidemics.

Launched on March 27th, the program received the support and response of the artists through contributing many valuable works. The organizers selected 65 works for auction.
After 6 online auctions, from March 29th to April 9th, 46 works were successfully bid and traded, earning a total of more than VND 500 million.
From April 15, the organizers will give the money to six hospitals and medical units in the first line of anti-epidemic in Hanoi, including: Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2, Bach Mai Hospital, Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Hanoi Center for Disease Control, Me Linh General Hospital, Hanoi City Police Hospital.
Particularly at the Hanoi Center for Disease Control, the Organizers will present four US rapid testing machines, worth VND 25 million each, instead of cash./.
