Photos on Vietnam’s landscape, daily life and culture

As many of 100 photos featuring Vietnam’s landscapes, daily life and culture are on display at an exhibition which opened in the central province of Binh Thuan’s Phan Thiet city on October 23rd.
The photos were selected from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2016 organized by Vietnam Heritage Magazine with five themes - rivers, nature, daily life, tangible and intangible culture.

According to the organizing board, the photo contest attracted 5,446 entries from 507 photographers, including 14 foreigners.
The contest was launched to call on the community inside and outside Vietnam to contemplate the values of Vietnamese natural and cultural heritages which need to be preserved. A ceremony to announce prize winners will be held in Ho Chi Minh city on November 23rd.
The exhibition runs until October 28th.
Similar events will be held in six other destinations across Vietnam until early 2017./.
