Quang Ngai province: Training course on making and using Hre ethnic traditional musical instruments

The central Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee has asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a training course on making and using Hre ethnic traditional musical instruments.

The training course is done according to a document on the implementation of the project on preserving and promoting Vietnamese ethnic culture until 2020, issued by the provincial People’s Committee.
One of the ethnic minorities in Quang Ngai province, the H're ethnic group has a very diversified and specific culture that is unique, but also contains features and values of ethnic culture in the Central Highlands and Truong Son mountain region.
However, the traditional forms of cultural activities, festivals and traditional musical instruments of the H're ethnic group are gradually disappearing.
The training course aims to preserve the fine traditional culture of the H're ethnic group, and contribute actively in building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity./.
