Quang Tri pilots tour to historical sites

Trieu Phong district People’s Committee in the central province of Quang Tri has opened pilot tours to cultural, historical and spiritual sites in the district.
The sites include late General Secretary Le Duan’s commemorate site, Quang Tri ancient citadel, lord Nguyen Hoang relics site and others.

At each place, tourists may offer flowers and incense, and learn about the significance of the relic site in local and national history.
According to Nguyen Van Hung, secretary of Quang Tri provincial Party Committee and chairman of Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee, this is a special tour, and he requested localities to promote popularization and connect with other tours to attract tourists. He also asked Trieu Phong district to overcome initial difficulties and be more active to develop the tour in the future./.
