Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Day in Dien Bien province

The Vietnam - Laos Special Friendship Day will take place in the northwestern mountainous province of Dien Bien from December 4th to 5th to promote images of Vietnam and Laos, and the special bilateral friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

The information was released at a press briefing on the festival held in Hanoi on November 13th by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Steering Committee for the festival.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong said that 2018 marks the 56th anniversary of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic ties and the 41st anniversary of the signing of the Treaty for Friendship and Cooperation.
During their respective renovation cause, the two sides have obtained immense socio-economic and foreign affairs achievements that helped bolster and expand their cooperation over various fields.
Art performances and photo exhibitions on Vietnam - Laos special relations, and a seminar on Dien Bien provincial trade and tourism will be held on this occasion. /.
