Women's Club promotes Vietnamese cultural heritages

The Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association has officially launched the Women's Club with the Cultural Heritage in order to promote the role of women in protecting Vietnam's cultural heritages.

Founded with the participation of more than 100 members, the club is responsible for connecting, exchanging experiences, knowledge and information among members through activities on cultural heritages; and to gather, unite and step up the cooperation and mutual assistance among members to protect and promote the value of cultural heritage during national development.

Club activities will focus on a number of key contents: identifying, understanding, and building love for heritage through experience programs;  exchanging and sharing experiences on exploitation, use and promotion of heritage values; linking, supporting and cooperating for sustainable heritage tourism development.

In addition, it is also responsible for connecting, exchanging experiences, knowledge and information among its members through cultural heritage activities.

During the club’s launching ceremony, chairwoman Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien underscored the importance of preserving and exploiting cultural heritage in a sustainable manner. She said the launch of the club will greatly contribute to protecting and promoting Vietnamese cultural values.

The debut of the club comes in response to the ASEAN Leader’s Special Session on Women’s Empowerment in the Digital Age, which was held as part of the 36th ASEAN Summit./.
