Capital plans establish about 40,000 enterprises in 2017

Hanoi plans to have about 40,000 newly-established enterprises in 2017, in which about 30-35% will be creative enterprises; forming a service area to support start-up business.

This content is included in the recent Plan 75/KH-UBND on developing enterprises in the city this year.
The plan is expected to contribute to achieving some targets: about 150,000 new jobs, average social labour productivity growth of 6.5% a year, and contribution of about 40% to the city’s GDP.
Aiming to fulfil the targets, the capital will apply an array of solutions, including reform of administrative procedures; creating favourable environment for enterprises like simplifying the order and procedures of tax payment documents to shorten time and reduce costs for enterprises; offering preferential policies on access to land and efficient use of agricultural land; give assistance to financial and credit access; and forming an economic linkage cluster.
This year, Hanoi aims to develop enterprises in both number and quality, in combination with heightening competitive capacity, improving productivity and the quality of products, and developing large-scale enterprises with strong financial and human resources./.
