Soc Trang calls on investment in 47 projects

At the event, Soc Trang will present decisions, investment licenses, and MoUs to 47 projects with a total capital of over VND122.88 trillion, mainly in the fields including agriculture, rural areas, hi-tech park and seafood.

On the sidelines, the province will support the start-up movement in the community with the launch of a start-up incubator.

In addition, it will kick off construction on some major projects such as building a backbone road for economic development from Soc Trang city, through Du Tho bridge in My Xuyen district, to the key economic area of the province and building wind power plant No 8.

Mr. Ngo Hung, Deputy Head of the provincial People’s Committee, said that from early November 2017, preparations for the meeting have been completed, thus helping the locality accelerate its investment attraction and effectively exploit potentials and strength, contributing to creating a breakthrough for socio-economic development./.
