HCMC honors typical products and services

As many as 108 businesses in Ho Chi Minh city are honored for typical products and services in 2019 with 147 products and services, said the city business association in a launch ceremony held on October 9th.

Among them, there are 9 enterprises in the field of science and technology winning the title with 14 products and 2 services.
According to the organizers, through statistics, total revenue from 105 products and 42 services reached more than VND528 trillion; bringing profits of over VND38 trillion and contributing over VND47 trillion to the budget. They also contributed to creating jobs for nearly 105,000 workers and supporting the community over VND274 billion.
The poll was launched from June 26th to August 15th. It has received applications from 285 enterprises with 345 products and services.
The title was organized by the HCMC Business Association every two years for the purpose of discovering and promoting brands for products and services and honoring businesses with typical products and services, thereby creating greater motivation for them to overcome difficulties and challenges to integrate with and accompany the construction and development of the city./.
