Ho Chi Minh city debuts brochure about medical tourism guide

To be designed in small dimension of 10.5x15cm, the 60 pages-brochure is hoped to access a large number of domestic and foreign tourists and overseas Vietnamese, especially from Laos, Cambodia and Australia to travel in combination with health examination and treatment.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huynh Mai, from the Ho Chi Minh city Health Department, said that the city has 114 public and private hospitals, 319 medical stations, 196 general consulting rooms and nearly 6,000 private specialty consulting rooms which can well meet the examination and treatment demand of people and offer health tourism services from now to 2020 and following years.

While Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh city Tourism Department, informed that 10,000 initial copies of the brochure will be available through hospitals, restaurants, hotels, airports and information stations supporting tourists.

Apart from the 14 best examination and treatment facilities with modern equipment in the first issue, more factors will be added.

She said that they would continue to exploit communications channels through the Internet, fanpage and youtube. Specialized brochures in five contents are projected to eye the public./.
