Boosting sustainable poverty reduction in Quang Binh province

Each year, the province creates jobs for over 32,000 laborers, and increases the number of trained laborers by 2.5-3%, and helps raise rural residents’ income of nearly VND25 million per capita.

Poverty reduction programs will be carried out promptly in the near future by expanding poverty reduction models, supporting production, diversifying livelihoods, and giving orientations for suitable plantation and breeding.

The province has made specific plans for giving vocational training to rural labourers, ensuring jobs for farmers, especially for those whose land has been revoked for other purposes and who are affected by the maritime environmental incident in 2016; and encouraging rural laborers, poor and nearly-poor laborers to join labor export./.
