Accordingly, the city Public Security will allocate forces along roads to be travelled by APEC delegations, and work with district Public Security to have forces on duty at all crossroads, ensuring traffic safety for delegations, asking all vehicles and pedestrians to let APEC delegations’ cars pass, and actively restricting vehicles from entering closed roads and protected areas.

Inspections will be carried out to detect and deal with violations of illegal parking or trade on roads. Along roads to be travelled by APEC delegations, trucks or cranes will be allocated to address any urgent situations.

During the time of meetings, traffic police will be responsible for working to prevent traffic congestion which can have negative impacts on delegates’ activities, not letting traffic congestion and accidents happen around areas that APEC activities are organized and along protected corridors of the APEC delegations.

During receptions and send-offs for APEC delegations, the traffic police force will also be on duty to ensure that APEC delegations’ cars can pass, to actively address arising situations, and ensure strict obedience of  regulations, reporting situations to related agencies./.
