Thoroughly grasping 12th National Party Congress Resolution for intellectuals in central and Central Highlands

Hosted by the Party Central Committee Commission for Popularization and Education, the meeting drew the participation of more than 300 representatives who are leaders of Da Nang city Party Committee, leaders of Commissions for Popularization and Education in charge of science and education, leaders of Unions of Science and Technology Associations in 19 central and Central Highlands cities and provinces.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission for Popularization and Education Mai Van Ninh said the 12th National Party Congress Resolution has special importance with national construction and development in the new period. The studying and thoroughly grasping the resolution as well as basic contents of the Political Report at the 12th National Party Congress would help the participants know contents and new points of the resolution and apply them in building action programs to realize the resolution in life.

Participants studied three topics: the basic contents of the political report submitted to the 12th National Party Congress; reviewed the implementation of the resolution of the fourth session of the 11th Party Central Committee on Party building; and evaluated of the results of performing the tasks of socio-economic development in 2011-2015 and the orientation in the 2016-2020 period.

They also discussed contents of appreciation, condition forecast, general targets, socioeconomic targets and deeply analysed the tasks, measures and contents related to science and technology field, highly uniting in the will and activities in deploying and conducting the Resolution./
