Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue, Head of the Medical Examination and Treatment under the Ministry of Health (MoH), said the treatment therapy has always been updated among localities to find the best one.

“We put forth specific strategies, from reception of patients, isolation of patients to use of medicine and most modern equipment,” he said. “We can say that we go ahead of warnings by the World Health Organization.”

No new patients have been reported in Vietnam since February 13th. Apart from patients discharged from hospital, the others are in stable health condition and going to be discharged from hospital.

According to the MoH, there are only 34 suspected cases remaining who are being isolated at health foundations. Meanwhile, 1,137 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus.

“The remaining patients’ health is in good condition and surely that there will not be any fatalities,” said Mr. Khue./.
