4th “Tuoi tre Thu do Newspaper Cup” student badminton tour kicked off

(CPV) - As many as 700 players from Hanoi are competing for the 4th “Tuoi tre Thu do Newspaper Cup” student badminton tour at Long Bien district Culture and Sports Center.

The event not only connects sports lovers but also creates a good forum for them to exchange, share experiences in studying and doing scientific research, thus promoting the power of youth for the common development of Hanoi.
Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, Tuoi tre Thu do Newspaper Editor-in-Chief, said that this annual tournament has demonstrated its professionalism to the high enthusiasm of the youth.
It is part of activities to welcome the 63rd anniversary of Capital Liberation Day (October 10th), the 15th Congress of Hanoi capital Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, towards the 11th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, enhancing the movement of sports and physical training from Hanoi’s teenagers, as well as responding to the campaign “Creating a Hanoi youth generation in the new period” launched by Hanoi capital Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
Amateur athletes between 16-25 participating in the event come from universities, colleges, vocational training units and high schools./.
