National football team trains for AFF Cup in RoK

The national men’s football team will arrive in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on October 15th for training in preparation for AFF Suzuki Cup 2016, according to a news release of the Vietnam Football Federation.
The team will play three friendly matches against strong clubs, which are expected to help the players hone their tactics and skills and adjust to the addition of midfielders Dang Quang Huy and Bui Tien Dung.
Midfielder Que Ngoc Hai will accompany the team to the RoK although his ability to play at the upcoming AFF remains doubtful.
According to the latest medical update, Ngoc Hai is out through November due to an ankle injury incurred at a recent friendly match with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)./.
