Song Lam Nghe An wins Vietnam National Cup 2017

(CPV) - With 5-1 win over Becamex Binh Duong on November 30th at the home ground in the second leg, Song Lam Nghe An football club won Vietnam National Cup 2017 with the 7-2 aggregate.
In the first half, three goals were scored by Song Lam Nghe An players, including Kovacevic Danko (18th minute), Phan Van Duc (25th minute), while Nguyen Anh Duc narrowed the game to 2-1 in the 28th minute, then Phan Van Duc claimed his second goal eight minutes later.

After losing 1-2 in the first leg, Becamex Binh Duong by coach Tran Binh Su travelled to Vinh city without its key name Tan Tai due to his card.
The central province club continued its amazing race in the second half under the guidance of coach Nguyen Duc Thang, thanks to Nigerian striker Michael Olaha, 21, with a goal in the 75th minute, and Ho Phuc Tinh in the 90'+2 (extra time) to 5-1.
The third National Cup created a strong impetus for Song Lam Nghe An as its previous highest title was the V. League championships 2011./.
