(CPV) - By winning the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U15 Championship, the U15 national football team was honoured and received a VND400 million bonus during a ceremony held in Hanoi on July 24th by the Vietnam Football Federation.
Of the total, VND350 million came from Vietnam Football Federation, while the remainder was from Vietnam Professional Football.
Mr Nguyen Lan Trung, head of the U15 national football team delegation, expressed his thanks to head coach Hoang Anh Tuan and technical director Jürgen Gede from Vietnam Football Federation, saying that students had improved a lot after experiencing the two challenging matches in the first round.

Vietnam's U15 team won seven matches and earned the AFF trophy after the team beat Thailand 4-2.
According to Mr Vu Hong Viet, head coach of the U15 national football team, his students demonstrated their logical and smart tactics through the games. Besides, they also benefited from the enthusiasm and creativity of German physical therapy expert Martin Forken, by playing a game every two days.
In the near future, the team is set to qualify for the Asia U16 Championship 2018 in Mongolia.
Right after the welcoming event, all players will enter the national U15 Championship 2017, which is scheduled to take place in Tay Ninh province in early August./.
