The central province of Quang Tri on April 8th received first foreign maritime tourists in 2019 at Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district.

Director of the Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Do Van Binh said the Panorama 2 cruise ship carried 19 crew members and more than 40 vacationers, with nationalities of Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand, to the province.
Earlier, the cruise ship also docked in Da Nang on April 6th.
The delegation visited well-known historical relics such as Vinh Moc tunnel and Ta Con Airport.
According to Mr. Binh, so far this year, the number of tourists to Quang Tri reached 427,500, including 41,500 foreigners. In April and May, there will be additional delegations of international visitors to the central locality by seaway./.
