The central coastal city has launched a ceremony to clean the environment and landscapes of the city to welcome APEC 2017 Summit Week.

At the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the city People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan urged all agencies, departments, localities and the whole people to follow the “Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday” movement to welcome the very significant event.
He said that the summit week, held from November 6th to 11th with about 10,000 delegates, enterprises and journalists, will be an opportunity to promote the image, beautiful landscapes, and people of Da Nang to foreign friends; contributing to making the city a favourite spot for international tourists.
Right after the launch ceremony, Chairman of the city People’s Committee Huynh Duc Tho, Deputy Chairpersons, leaders of departments and localities, and about 2,000 people joined hands in cleaning up streets and residential areas./.
