DPRK - US summit: Foreign reporters offered free air tickets and hotel rooms

Vietnam Airlines and Vinpearl coordinated with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to offer free air tickets and hotel rooms to domestic and foreign reporters working at the International Media Center during the second DPRK - US summit.

Reporters can choose Vietnam Airlines domestic air ticket package and 2 free night stays at Vinpearl five-star resorts systems (Vinpearl Resort & Golf Nam Hoi An, Vinpearl Resort & Golf Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Resort & Spa Nha Trang ) or only domestic air tickets.
Each reporter with press card issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam can register for 1 gift package at VNAT’s counters at the International Media Center.
The move is also a pioneering effort of the three sides in boosting tourism development and integration process of Vietnam in the context of being increasingly considered as a friendly, safe and attractive destination in Asia.
According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, nearly 3,000 foreign reporters of 200 news agencies from some 40 countries and territories and 500 Vietnamese reporters are covering the summit./.
