Hue receives 20 smart waste bins

The smart waste bins will be installed at tourist spots in Hue 

Of these, four waste bins are equipped with smart sensor technology run by solar energy with an indicator light that glows when the bin is full and they will emit sound when receiving garbage.

In addition, all 20 waste bins have garbage sorting compartments, reflective decals mounted on a gray painted background to match the ancient scenery of the cultural heritage and common landscape of Hue imperial city.

“Protecting the environment and landscapes in tourist attractions is a significant action, contributing to building a peaceful and happy life for generations today and tomorrow,” said Chris Yang, General Director of Bridgestone Vietnam.

The waste bins will be installed at Hue imperial city, tombs and suitable positions on wharves and bus stations in Hue city to serve local people and tourists./.
