Ly Son greets over 150,000 tourist arrivals

Ly Son island in the central province of Quang Ngai has greeted more than 150,000 tourist arrivals so far this year, grossing a turnover of more than VND100 billion, reported the Ly Son district People’s Committee.

In recent time, aiming to improve the quality of tourism service, Ly Son district coordinated with the Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Dung Quat Vocational School to open training courses on tourism skills for motels and hotels on the island.

15 nautical miles from north of Sa Ky port, Ly Son island is known as the “natural pearl island” for its charming and spectacular white sand and blue sea.

The island, which spreads over 9.9sq.km and has a population of more than 20,000, has many temples, cultural complexes, and beautiful natural sites. To reach the island, visitors have to take a 45-minute boat ride from Sa Ky port./.
