Many international culinary experts to join International Food Festival – Hoi An 2019

As many as 10 chefs from Germany, Japan, France, Hong Kong (China), Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam will bring great food for participants at the International Food Festival – Hoi An 2019.
Cao Lau - the pride of Hoi An cuisine
The fourth festival of its kind, the event will be held from April 11th to 14th at An Hoi Sculpture Park in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.
This year’s event, themed “Cao Lau (local style noodles) Challenge” will introduce the traditional food of Hoi An and chefs will cook the dish in their own style to serve dinners.
Through the event, Hoi An city will introduce and promote the value of local cuisine, promote the image of culture and cuisine of Hoi An to domestic and international tourists; creating opportunities for chefs, people and visitors to exchange with international culinary experts.
Hoi An culinary culture has been attracting travel experts and tourists from around the world. The city was honored among the Top 25 best cuisine destinations in the world by TripAvisor, the cooking service at Hoi An was listed among the Top 10 most exciting experiences on the planet by Lonely Planet, and “banh mi Hoi An” was listed among the world’s Top 10 sandwiches by Austrian travel website Traveller.
This creates the foundation for Hoi An to host the International Food Festival since 2016./.
