On March 20th, the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Tourism announced the program for the 2017 Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival with various activities and special promotions.

The festival will be held from March 23
rd to 26
th at Le Van Tam Park with the theme “Welcome Summer 2017”. It will be attended by 81 tourism companies from 39 provinces and cities.
At the event, some companies will offer tours with discounts from 10-50%. Specifically, the promotion is applied to tours at filming locations of Kong Skull Island, Nam Du tour, Phu Yen – Quy Nhon tour and trans-Viet tours. Visitors buying tours to Bhutan, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China) and Dubai will be offered a free domestic trip.
In addition, during the festival, 1,000 free tickets to the Cu Chi Tunnels will be presented to visitors.
On the sidelines, there will be many programs and activities, including an exhibition on the city’s tourism, a meeting with tourism leaders of provinces and cities, Saigon Tourist program and an art program discovering the Northwestern region.
This year’s event will arrange a space for tourism startups to introduce the contest “Startup Wheel 2017”.
On March 24th, a ceremony to honour the Top 100 tourism enterprises in Ho Chi Minh city will be held on the main stage./.
