Vietnam Airlines to add 4,700 flights during summer holidays 2017

(CPV) - The Vietnam national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) announced on May 27th that it will offer 4,700 additional flights on domestic routes from now to August 20th to meet increased travel demands during the summer holidays.

Extra flights will be added to the Hanoi-Da Nang/Chu Lai/Pleiku/Nha Trang/Ho Chi Minh city/Phu Quoc routes, and Ho Chi Minh city-Da Nang/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc routes, providing up to 4.6 million seats of the total during the peak hour, an increase of 13.5% from the normal schedule and up 14% compared to the same period last year.
Most notably, the carrier will provide 47 additional flights each day from June 28th to August 6th, totaling over 400 flights per day.
Besides, VNA offers cheap one-way tickets for the Hanoi-Chu Lai and Ho Chi Minh city-Da Lat routes (from VND399,000), Hanoi-Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh city-Hue/Da Nang/Nha Trang/Quy Nhon/Phu Quoc routes (from VND499,000), Hanoi-Hue/Vinh/Quy Nhon and Ho Chi Minh city-Dong Hoi routes (from VND599,000)…
These special prices (not including taxes, surcharges and certain conditions) will be applicable for flights departing and landing from now to August 31st, 2017.
