Vietnam Airlines to launch Da Nang - Osaka air route

Vietnam Airlines will launch a route connecting the central city of Da Nang with Japan’s Osaka on October 28th, said Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism.

Accordingly, there will be 7 flights a week on the route using Airbus A321 aircraft. Flights will depart from Da Nang at 00h20 and Osaka at 09h30, with flight duration of about 4 hours and 30 minutes.
This is the 11th route of the national flag carrier to Japan, after services linking Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Da Nang to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka.
From now to September 30th, 2018, Vietnam Airlines offers promotional tickets for this route with a starting price of VND5.899 million (about USD249) for the flight period from October 28th to December 31st, 2018.
It is now the largest carrier for air services between Vietnam and Japan, with around 70 flights a week. Since the first flight in 1994, some 11.3 million passengers have been transported, holding a 65% market share./.
