Creating conditions for Khmer people to celebrate traditional Chol Chnam Thmay Festival

The traditional Tet Chol Chnam Thmay 2024 of the Khmer people will be celebrated in the southern province of Kien Giang from April 13-16 (from the 5th day to the 8th day of the third lunar month).

To well organize the traditional holiday, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee requires all levels of party committees, party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to perform well in leading the festival organization; preserve and promote the cultural identity, traditions, good customs and practices of the Khmer people; and create conditions for people to enjoy the festival in accordance with traditional culture.
The Party Committee of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province will facilitate the organization of activities during the festival in accordance with the cultural traditions of the Khmer people; provide information about socio-economic development achievements, examples of good people with good deeds, good customs and cultural traditions of the people./.
