Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum extends visiting hours

In order to meet the needs of visitors during peak occasions, especially the holidays of Southern Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1) and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 2024), the Victory Museum Dien Bien Phu has arranged its staff stay open and welcome visitors in some evenings.

Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet Nga, Director of the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, said that based on the number of visitors to the museum over the past time, the museum expected that visitors to Dien Bien would increase a lot on these occasions.
To meet the needs of visitors to the Museum and admire the panorama on the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the museum will welcome visitors on Friday and Saturday evening from April 1 to May 31, 2024, especially in the evening of Monday (May 6) and Tuesday (May 7). Evening hours will be from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
According to statistics, in March 2024 alone, the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum welcomed 50,433 visitors. Among the visitors to the museum, there are many groups of veterans from provinces and cities in the country; officers, soldiers, and students who want to study and review the heroic struggle traditions of our ancestors to achieve victory./.
