Festival marks 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Cat Hai district

A festival marking the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Cat Hai (March 31, 2024) has been opened in Cat Ba Island, Cat Hai District, Hai Phong City.

An art programme themed “Green Cat Ba” was the highlight of the traditional Cat Hai Festival.
The festival aims to widely propagate Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, as well as the heroic traditions of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Cat Hai District in implementing President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching from 65 years ago: “Our golden forests and silver seas are owned by our people.”
The traditional festival in Cat Hai District features many exciting activities, creating joy and excitement among people of all walks of life and especially attracting large numbers of domestic and foreign tourists to Cat Ba for the occasion.
In particular, Cat Hai District's Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024 will be held in the Cat Ba Tourism Centre square for the first time.
On this occasion, a ceremony to kick off the Cat Ba tourism season 2024 was also held./.
