The Indian cultural festival called “Namaste Vietnam Festival 2022” is taking placing in Ho Chi Minh City and the south-central province of Khanh Hoa from August 12 – 21.

The event is hosted by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to boost cultural exchange and step up cooperation in trade, investment, education, information technology, tourism and healthcare between the two countries.
Addressing at the opening ceremony, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma said the cultural festival was first scheduled for the beginning of this year on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties (January 1, 1972 – 2022) but had to postpone due to COVID-19.
India wants to promote three key elements during this festival: Trade, Connectivity and Culture, said the diplomat./.
