Photos on South-Central Coast and Central Highlands on display

On July 1, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists coordinated with the Quang Ngai Provincial Literature and Arts Association to organize the 28th South-Central Coast and Central Highlands region Art Photography Festival in Quang Ngai City.

The event entitled “The country and people of the South-Central Coast and Central Highlands region" aimed to offer the chance for artists to meet, exchange ideas and show their artwork to the public.

After more than three months of launching, the organising board received 2,012 works by 270 photographers from 10 provinces and cities: Binh Dinh, Quang Nam, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Quang Ngai and Da Nang city.

141 works of 87 photographers were selected to display at the exhibition and 15 works will be awarded.

The works are of all types of photography, including Landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and daily life, showing the beauty of nature, landscapes and people following Uncle Ho’s example, as well as socio-economic development and the cultural lives of local people./.
