300 photos and documents on General Le Duc Anh displayed in Hanoi

(CPV) - On November 26, the Vietnam Military History Museum coordinated with Military Library to organize an exhibition entitled "General Le Duc Anh – Life and career" in Hanoi.

More than 300 photos, documents and artifacts reflecting the periods in General Le Duc Anh's life, from his childhood to when he grew up and held leadership positions in Army and Government as well as his sincere feelings towards his comrades, hometown and family are on display an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on November 26.

It is divided into 4 parts, including hometown and childhood, General Le Duc Anh in the cause of national liberation and defense, General Le Duc Anh in the cause of national construction and sincere feelings.

Addressing at the opening ceremony, director of Vietnam Military History Museum affirmed that the exhibition aims to honor and offer as a tribute to great contributions of General Le Duc Anh to the cause of national liberation, reunification, construction and defense. Besides, it helps to propagandize and educate for all officers soldiers of the army, especially the young generation to take after the example of General Le Duc Anh, contributing to strengthen the army and to build a more beautiful, civilized country.

At the opening ceremony, on behalf of General Le Duc Anh's family, Mr. Le Manh Ha expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Military History Museum and the Military Library for organizing the exhibition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of General's birthday (December 1, 1920 to December 1, 2020).

All pictures, documents and exhibits on display are those vivid evidence reflecting the life and career of General Le Duc Anh, former member of the Politburo, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, former Advisor to the Party Central Committee, former Minister of National Defense.

The information on typical images, documents, artifacts and historical stories presented at the exhibition will be regularly updated in the website of Vietnam Military History Museum (http: // vmhm.org.vn/).

The exhibition will run until the end of December 2020 at the Vietnam Military Museum at 28A Dien Bien Phu street./.
