Do My Linh crowned Miss Vietnam 2016

Do My Linh, 20, a student from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, was named Miss Vietnam 2016 at the finale in Ho Chi Minh city in the night of August 28th.

During the night, thirty beauties across Vietnam showcased their outer and inner beauty.

Miss Vietnam is a biennial beauty pageant initiated in 1988 by Tien Phong newspaper to improve young women’s role in national development while dignifying the country’s cultural potential, tradition and history, as well as promoting its image and people to international peers during the integration process.

Linh also took home VND500 million in cash prize, while the first and second runners-up Ngo Thanh Thanh Tu and Huynh Thi Thuy Dung received VND300 million and VND200 million, respectively.
