He stressed that the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) which was approved by the European Council in March 2020 and ratified by the National Assembly of Vietnam in June 2020 has brought benefits to both sides, contributing to the better development of bilateral relations between Vietnam and the EU, especially in the field of economy and trade. “The progress in Vietnam-EU relations is an important premise for Hanoi to promote multifaceted cooperation with the EU in the coming time,” he said. “In its efforts for development, Hanoi has always put people and businesses at the center, actively reformed administration, and created a favorable environment for investors, including European businesses.”

He also expressed his thanks to the ambassadors and associates for working together to promote political, economic and cultural projects and events with Hanoi in the past time.
