Cultural Festival for Peace to take in November

(CPV) - The program “Cultural Festival for Peace” which will take in Hanoi in November is identified as a special mark of the city in the series of events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the capital liberation day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The event will be held by the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi.
The program aims to demonstrate the force associated with promoting and introducing the culture of the Capital Hanoi, contributing to promoting the tourism economy in the city.
The festival has a scale of about 10,000 people, including about 700 domestic and international guest delegates, 9,000 participants including parade and performance forces including artisans and people from 30 districts, towns; artists, actors, musicians and people from all walks of life in the capital, international friends.
The program is held at the main stage at the Ly Thai To King Monument area and the secondary stages in the areas: Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden, Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square, Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, Le Thai To - Ba Trieu - Trang Thi - Hang Khay intersection.
“Culture for Peace Festival” once again honors the value of peace, expresses pride in the title “City for Peace” awarded by UNESCO, affirms the international community’s recognition of the positive contributions of Hanoi Capital in the struggle for peace as well as in the cause of development, building a Hanoi Capital – City for Peace – a dynamic creative city in integration and development but still maintaining Vietnamese traditions./.
