Hanoi receives COVID-19 quick test kits

Medicon is the only unit in Vietnam that produces rapid tests for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen. Trueline COVID-19 Ag Rapid Test products have been widely and effectively used in Vietnam and trusted by users.

So far, Medicon has sponsored 300,000 test kits nationwide, of which Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are the two localities with the most, with 100,000 test kits each. This product has recently been used in many medical facilities across the country.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front, said that ensuring people's health is the number one goal in COVID-19 prevention, a premise for promoting socio-economic development and taking care of the people's material and spiritual life. Rapid testing is a necessary requirement of the health sector and frontline forces at 22 checkpoints and medical units throughout the city, according to Ms Huong.

On the same day, the Hanoi Fatherland Front received and handed over 16,000 rapid test kits and 2 ventilators to the City Department of Health./.
