Under the theme “Vietnam - The cook of the world”, the event was co-organized by the HCM city Department of Tourism and the HCM city Tourism Association.

Some 50 display booths of restaurants, hotels, vocational schools of restaurants and hotels featured a variety of foods from Vietnam’s regions and countries of the Asia, Europe and America.

It was an opporunity to promote local food and contribute to the building a position of Vietnamese cuisine in the world, via art performances, folk games, cooking instruction and performance.
