HCMC's farm produce exhibition attracts 160 booths

The Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City Farmers’ Association coordinated with the Thu Duc city People’s Committee, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the city Post Office to organize the event on May 24.

With 160 booths, the fair and exhibition is among significant events held annually by the City Farmers’ Association.

The event offered opportunity for 4 families (the State, farmers, scientists and entrepreneurs) to meet to research and create high quality plant varieties and breeds, to produce new varieties suitable to actual conditions, providing suitable products to the market.

During the 6-day event, the City Farmers’ Association organized many activities such as conference to train knowledge for farmers to put agricultural products on the e-commerce floor Postmart.vn; seminars on solutions to develop OCOP products in Ho Chi Minh City; and a media conference on raising the proportion of farmer members participating in health insurance and voluntary social insurance in 2022./.
