Ho Chi Minh City’s leader highlights good cooperation relationship with Argentina

He made the statement during his reception for Mr. Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino, Argentina Ambassador to Vietnam, on April 13.

Appreciating Argentina's achievements in pandemic control as well as in economic recovery and reopening the tourism industry, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Chairman said that the city has learned a lot from Argentina's experience.

Expressing his appreciation for the good cooperation relationship between Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and Argentina, he said that with his responsibility, Ho Chi Minh City will make many contributions to promote friendly cooperative relations between the two countries. Ho Chi Minh City wishes to strengthen cooperation with Argentina, in which to promote stronger business cooperation between the two sides in production and trade, tourism, cultural exchange activities and agriculture. “Ho Chi Minh City is ready to work with the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam to organize activities towards the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2023, including the business exchange week between Argentina and Ho Chi Minh City and the Argentinean Cultural Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.”

Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Van Mai believes that Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino will have a successful term in Vietnam with many contributions to enhancing cooperation between Vietnam and Argentina.

Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino expressed his honor to visit and work in Ho Chi Minh City and thanked the Vietnamese Government for giving Argentina medical masks to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic.

Appreciating the friendly cooperation between the two countries Argentina and Vietnam, established 49 years ago, Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino informed about some activities of the Argentine Embassy in Vietnam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

He said that cooperation projects between Argentina and Vietnam in many fields have achieved positive results; and shared the results of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of technology and agriculture. He wishes to enhance cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City in the fields of trade, agriculture and sharing technology for preserving agricultural products./.
