The ceremony has a special meaning, solemnly held at the Versailles Hotel, where President Ho Chi Minh stopped during his three visits to Vladivostok, including the first time in 1924. At the ceremony, Vietnamese and Russian representatives affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was the one who laid the foundation for the friendly relations between Vietnam - the former Soviet Union earlier and Vietnam - Russian Federation at present. Russia had a great influence on Uncle Ho's revolutionary life and the Vietnamese revolution. Today's generations have the responsibility to preserve and develop the good traditional friendship between the two countries.

During his journey to find a way to save the country and his revolutionary career, President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in nearly 60 countries, of which the longest stay was with Russia. Particularly in Vladivostok city, he visited 3 times to carry out the tasks of the Communist International and chart the path for the Vietnamese revolution.

On this occasion, at the Versailles Hotel, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Vladivostok displayed a number of pictures about President Ho Chi Minh's life and the good friendship between Vietnam and Russia that he diligently built.

On the same day, Vietnamese Consul General Nguyen Dang Hien and a large number of Vietnamese representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in Vladivostok came to offer flowers at Uncle Ho monument and the city's train station.
