Football tournament of Vietnamese community in Russia organized successfully

The final and closing ceremony of the Football Championship of the Vietnamese Community in Russia in 2023 has been recently organized at the Kapotnhia Arena Stadium in Moscow.

After nearly 2 months of competition with 37 matches and 115 goals, the two strongest teams, FC Hanoi and FC Friends, won the right to compete in the final match. Then FC Friends defeated the defending champion of 2022 to win the crown of this year's tournament.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Anh, Head of the Community Affairs Department of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, affirmed that the tournament created a healthy sports playground, attracting a lot of attention from the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation.
For his part, Mr. Tran Phu Thuan, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, thanked the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, the sponsors and all members of the Organizing Committee for their contribution to creating a successful tournament, creating a good impression in the hearts of players and fans in the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation.
The tournament attracted the participation of 15 teams and 400 players, making it the largest such event so far./.
