"Fun Vietnamese" is a program organized by Vietnamese students in the Russian Federation under the direction and orientation of the Party Committee and the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese Students’ Association in the Russian Federation.

In nearly a year of operation, the program has organized more than 100 periods for children aged 6-12, who are overseas Vietnamese children and successfully organized a program in tribute to teachers on November 20 (Vietnamese Teachers’ Day)" in Russia.

Currently, the number of students of the "Fun Vietnamese" program is 53, ages from 6-12 years old, divided into three classes A, B, C with different curriculums and teaching methods.

The students joining in the “Fun Vietnamese” class are mostly the second and third Vietnamese generations in Russia. Therefore, teaching Vietnamese to them not only has linguistic significance, but also creates a bond between overseas Vietnamese students and the Vietnamese community in the Russian Federation. At the same time, it helps strengthen the spirit of preserving the language and identity of Vietnamese people abroad.

Particularly, at the opening ceremony of phase 3 of the “Fun Vietnamese” program held on April 7, there were also the participation of 7 Russian students who have a passion and love for the Vietnamese language. This is a good sign for the spread of Vietnamese to international friends.

This program receives support in facilities and classrooms from the Fund for promoting the Russia-Vietnam cooperation development "Tradition and friendship" and Moscow State Linguistic University./.
