Overseas Vietnamese in Macau (China) support flood victims in Central region

Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Truong Thi Ngoc Anh on October 26 received 45.6 million VND from Ms. Tran Thi Thu, President of the Mutual Support Fellow-Countrymen Association in Macau (China), to support people in the Central region affected by Typhoon No. 4.

At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Thu said that the Mutual Support Fellow-Countrymen Association in Macau has about 100 members. Whenever domestic people unfortunately face difficulties caused by natural disasters and epidemics, members of the association, with their hearts always looking to the Fatherland, are ready to make contributions to share with people at home although their lives in Macau still face numerous difficulties.
The members donated and sent donations to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to ease the difficulties of people in some Central provinces severely affected by Typhoon No. 4.
On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Vice President Truong Thi Ngoc Anh thanked and expressed her respect for the good hearts and good deeds of the members of the Mutual Support Fellow-Countrymen Association in Macau. The gift is also a great encouragement to the people in the Central region in overcoming the consequences of the typhoon and floods.
She wished that this good spirit of mutual affection would continue to spread among the members of the Mutual Support Fellow-Countrymen Association in Macau and overseas Vietnamese communities around the world.
Ms. Anh affirmed that this meaningful gift will soon be delivered to people in the Central region./.
