Vietnam and Japan promote cooperation in training high-quality human resources

Vietnamese Consul General in Fukuoka Vu Chi Mai and Dr. Dinh Hung Cuong, representative of the Vietnam-Japan Expert Association in Fukuoka, on July 8 paid a working visit at the General Research Center of Kitakyushu City.

The center now has many research facilities such as the automotive industry, semiconductors, robotics, digital transformation and green industry, supporting small and medium-sized businesses to start up in the unit's strong areas.
The visit aims to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in training high-quality human resources in the field of semiconductors.
At the meeting, Consul General Vu Chi Mai discussed with the center's leaders the direction of cooperation in a number of fields, especially research and development of electronic semiconductors. At the same time, she expressed her wish that the centre would receive Vietnamese students and graduate students as interns at the semiconductor center.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of organizing exchange programs, scholarships and in-depth training courses for Vietnamese experts and graduate students in electronic semiconductors; receive and train Vietnamese students and cooperate with Vietnamese research centers to support technical research and development./.
