Hanoi provides high-quality services to welcome 4,500 Indian tourists

(CPV) - A group of 4,500 Indian tourists will be divided into small groups to visit Vietnam from August 27 to September 7, spending most of their time sightseeing and staying in Hanoi.

The Indian group schedules to stay at about 10 high-end hotels in Hanoi. The group of tourists have high spending levels and also requires high standards. Services must be arranged at 4-5 star quality, the accommodation system and restaurants must meet standards.

Currently, units are making efforts to add a number of services suitable to the culture, needs, interests and habits of the group.

Novotel Hanoi Thai Ha Hotel has cooperated with a team of Indian chefs to prepare different regional menus that will change every day to be suitable to tastes of the tourists. Many ingredients are imported from India.

InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel also invited Indian chefs from 5-star hotels of IHG group in India to Hanoi and support cooking of the most authentic dishes. In addition, to improve the professionalism and behavioral culture of staff, the hotel trains and helps employees participate in courses on Indian culture.

Mr. Patrick Verove, General Director of InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel said that the menu includes many typical Indian dishes of different regions and vegetarian dishes. Indian tea and coffee are also served.

In addition to strict requirements on cuisine, the Indian delegation also has its own requirements for the venue. Melia Hanoi Hotel will be the venue for 6 gala dinners with 650 - 750 guests for each program.

Welcoming the above high-class delegation is also an opportunity to promote tourism in Hanoi and many localities. Therefore, the hotels, in addition to preparing Indian-style menus, also introduce some typical Vietnamese dishes such as pho, soft noodles, fish cakes and Vong village green rice.

According to the travel schedule in Vietnam, the 4,500 Indian tourists are expected to visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi); Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) and Trang An Eco-tourism Area (Ninh Binh)./.
